Leaving for an elsewhere, tending towards an ideal...
Tom, a sensitive and dissatisfied young man, hasfollow his dream: he left.
He left his city, a stifling family and professional environment… He fled.
But Tom closes his eyes.
Tom remembers what he left behind.
This inner journey brings him back to the apartment of his youth.
There, Tom finds Amanda, his mother, who, faced with the harshness of everyday life,
hysterically dwells on his fallen dreams and projects his desires for social success onto his children.
And then there is Laura, her sister who is so fragile, so unsuited to reality that she locks herself in aimaginary universe, with its collection of glass animals.
But above all, Tom must relive that spring evening when he invited his friend Jim to dinner, rekindling his mother's madness and his sister's hopes, confronted with his secret love.
Life then almost turned upside down, for aenchanted parenthesis…
